Sand Castles for Wishes 2010, as presented by TakeCare Insurance Co. Inc. will have 16 corporate and organization teams competing to build sand sculptures not only to win prizes, but also to help the local chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Sand Castle for Wishes 2010 is scheduled for Saturday, July 10, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Saipan Beach with company and organization teams being invited to register with a $100 donation per team.
“Every year, the Make-A-Wish Foundation hosts creative fundraisers, such as the Kites for Wishes, as part of our effort to reach out to the community and raise funds for our programs, “said Guam and CNMI Make-A-Wish Foundation chapter executive director Victor P. Camacho.
“We are excited to have this community event as a way for our local partners and supporters to have fun while helping a great cause and we invite everyone to come out and enjoy,” he said.
One of the region’s largest and premier health care and insurance firms, TakeCare Insurance Co. Inc., has joined forces with Make-A-Wish Foundation this year to bring this community event to the CNMI.
“We are as equally excited to be a part of this worthwhile community event and we support the mission of Make-A-Wish Foundation in delivering these wonderful, enriching experiences to children who need it the most,” said TakeCare Insurance Co. Inc. marketing manager Nora Sablan
World famous sand sculpture master Dennis Massoud will be here from Australia, with special thanks to Hyatt Regency Saipan, for demonstrations at the event and clinics for the participants. Proceeds from sponsors and teams will be donated to the local Make-A-Wish Foundation chapter.
