John Mendiola Camacho was released from custody of the Department of Corrections after Judge Kenneth Govendo granted his motion for bail modification.
Camacho is facing charges of disturbing the peace, obstructing justice, and two counts of violation of a court order, after he made contact with his wife.
Camacho was required to post $11,250 in property bond, and was released to his father as his third party custodian.
Govendo ordered Camacho to stay away from his wife.
Attorney Joaquin Torres served as counsel for Camacho, while the government was represented by Assistant Attorney General Russel Lorfing.
After his wife testified in court during his jury trial last week, authorities arrested Camacho for violating a standing condition for his previous pretrial release.
The wife said she was frightened by Camacho who raised his voice during a call on her mobile phone, police said.
Jurors exonerated Camacho from three counts of child abuse, but Judge David A. Wiseman convicted him of assault and battery of his wife.
Wiseman also placed on advisement the three counts of disturbing the peace against the defendant.
Camacho will be sentenced on May 25, and his bench trial for his two domestic charges will proceed in the afternoon.
