Detective Steven A. Castro said Sgt. Edward Ayuyu was flagged down by a civilian along Koblerville by Noah’s Water Tank on July 2, at about 2:30 a.m.
The incident occurred at MM Auto Shop, police said.
Responding officers and medics attended to Sabrina Satur who was then holding the back of her head with both hands.
There were bloodstains on the floor and on the front door of the residence, police said.
Police on the east side of Han Nam Market radioed that they had custody of a man wearing a black t-shirt, a pair of blue pants, with long hair, and who appeared to have bloodstains on his hands.
The man was identified as Disa by one of the victims, police said.
Police said Disa came to the house of Mohammed Muslim, and punched the victim on the back of his head and right shoulder.
Disa then walked out of the house and punched the driver side windshield of a Toyota Tercel, owned by a customer.
Afterward, Disa attacked Muslim with a screwdriver but Muslim managed to take it away from Disa.
Disa also grabbed and threw away the cellular phone being used by Muslim in calling for police assistance.
Prior to this incident, Sabrina told police she heard a loud, hard banging on the front door and shouting.
Sabrina woke up Muslim.
After Muslim opened the door, Disa came in and punched Muslim, police said.
Disa then approached Sabrina and punched her head five times and kicked her once on the back, police said.
Sabrina’s daughter tried to help, but was slapped by Disa, police added.
Police did not state the motive for the assault.
