Man faces jail term for robbing poker arcade

Dong Zhe Xu was booked for armed robbery and robbery and assault with a dangerous weapon.

His arraignment is set for June 1 at 9 a.m.

Superior Court Associate Judge David Wiseman set his bail at $50,000.

Detective Christopher Deleon Guerrero told the court Xu entered Smile Poker at 4:45 a.m. on Wednesday wearing a mask and armed with a knife.

He first attacked the lone customer of the poker arcade and took her $60.

He then proceeded at the cashier’s booth and demanded money.

The cashier then threw out on the floor more than $100.

The suspect then walked out of the establishment where he tried to assault another victim who attempted to stop him.

Police immediately responded to the scene of the crime and later arrested the suspect near an apartment in Chalan Kanoa.
