Man in ‘ice’ case rearrested for contempt

On Sept. 7, 2010, Detectives Roque Camacho and Dennis Reyes conducted a routine random check on Crisostomo, 27, who had been released to his sister as his third party custodian.

The detectives learned from Ana Crisostomo, the defendant’s sister, that he went by himself to his mother’s house in Koblerville.

“[The] detectives…then went to the mother’s house and learned that [Calistro] Crisostomo never made it to the mother’s house,” according to Detective Steven A. Castro’s affidavit of probable cause.

Further investigation showed that Calistro Crisostomo and Mandel Techur, a known drug dealer, were pulled over by patrol officers and marijuana was found in their possession on Sept. 2, 2010.

During Calistro Crisostomo’s initial court appearance, Judge Kenneth L. Govendo set a $1,000 cash bail which he said will be forfeited if the defendant commits another violation.

Calistro Crisostomo was then remanded to the custody of the Department of Corrections.

On Aug. 5, 2010, Judge Ramona V. Manglona authorized the release of Calistro Crisostomo to his sister, and required him to post a $30,000 property bond.

The Attorney General’s Office has charged Crisostomo with trafficking and conspiracy to commit trafficking of “ice” on July 10, 2010.

His co-defendant is Juan R. Tydingco, 34.
