Assistant Attorney General Kathleen R. Busenkell filed the petition against Feichuan Huang in Superior Court.
Records showed that Huang pleaded guilty to illegal possession of controlled substance.
Huang was sentenced by Associate Judge David A. Wiseman for five years, all suspended, except 18 months with credit for time served while incarcerated and under house arrest since June 4, 2008.
Huang was also directed to pay a $100 assessment fee and to obey all CNMI and federal laws.
Huang, who will be placed under supervised probation for five years after his release, also agreed to a stipulation to deportation on Jan. 16, 2009.
In June 2008, Huang, with two other persons, was arrested for “ice” trafficking on Saipan.
