A scriptwriter and a performing artist, Manglona said the project will be a full length film “based on a narrative that is intended to entertain.”
He said the manamko’ will be characters in the film, which will be presented to the senior citizens’ donors and supporters in the CNMI.
The production of the film, he added, will also help the manamko’ raise funds for their scheduled visit to Guam in June.
But the main goal of the project is to discover the talents of the manamko’ and share them with the public, Manglona said.
He added that he has already discussed the film with Aging Center Director Howard Macaranas.
Manglona said he can teach the manamko’ choreography, and will be their acting and singing coach.
He said he also intends to establish a drama class at the Aging Center.
