(MVA) — Right after winning 2nd place as Best Diving Area Overseas at Japan Marine Diving Awards, The Marianas touted its diving and other attractions on April 4-6, 2025, at ADEX Ocean Festival 2025, the largest dive expo in Asia.
The expo in Singapore included a diverse array of activities and attractions presented by 168 exhibitors, 325 booths, and 111 speakers. Activities included immersive dive experiences, interactive workshops, marine conservation talks, underwater photography and videography showcases, cutting-edge diving gear displays, and more.
“ADEX is a celebration of the ocean, bringing together diving enthusiasts, marine conservationists, industry experts, and adventure seekers,” said Marianas Visitors Authority Deputy Managing Director Judy C. Torres. “Through the various speakers and activities, the festival helps foster a deeper appreciation of the ocean’s wonders and helps promote conservation practices. MVA uses ADEX to both network with key stakeholders in the diving and marine tourism industry and, through our information booth, promote the amazing, award-winning diving attractions in Saipan, Tinian, Rota, and the Northern Islands, as well as Micronesia at large.”
MVA joined Palau Visitors Authority and Guam Visitors Bureau in a Micronesia pavilion at the event, which attracted 50,000 attendees, including approximately 28,000 consumers, 19,000 trade representatives, and 3,000 other guests. Torres was joined by Dive Operator Mayuki Policare of Heart of Gold Divers and MVA Media Marketing Specialist Ezra Lizama.
Organizers dedicated this year’s festival to cephalopods, including octopuses, cuttlefish, squid, and nautiluses and celebrated marine life behavior.
