Marpac provides care packages for frontline workers

Gov. Ralph Torres expressed his appreciation, saying, “I want to thank the resident manager from Marpac, Guy Pudney, for contributing and donating over 300 gift bags to all of our first responders. Thank you for your continued support and appreciating all the hard work of our first responders. To the people of our Commonwealth, let’s continue to fight Covid and not each other. Let’s continue to make the CNMI safe.” The contents of the care packages included face masks, hand sanitizer, water bottles, One Team t-shirts, hats, and flashlights, among other items. “On behalf of the CNMI Covid-19 Task Force, Governor Torres, and Lt. Governor Palacios, we want to thank Marpac for their donation of frontliner gift bags,” said Warren Villagomez, head of the Governor’s Covid-19 Task Force. “These gift bags will reach every single first responder that is out there taking on the task of responding to Covid-19 risks, as well as other hazardous activities happening in the CNMI. These bags will be distributed to the first responders in Saipan, Tinian, and Rota. We are extremely grateful for the donation and we thank all of the business community, especially businesses like Marpac, that continue to reach out to our first responders who are fully committed to serving, whether it be at the airport, seaport, as well as responding to every call here in the CNMI.”
