MHS Refaluwasch Cultural Club members visit manamko’

Tina Foster, one of the MHS teachers who accompanied the group, said they sing three songs at each place they visit.

She said they also visited hotels and government offices, including the Commonwealth Health Center.

“This is part of the community service of the students,” she added.

Teresita Sorroza, Saipan Senior Citizens Advisory Council president, said the manamko’ appreciated the visit and the singing skills of the students, some of whom have grandmothers at the center.

She said they hope the students will continue to visit them even if it’s not the holiday season.
