However, Clayton said she is still waiting for confirmation from the international pageant organizer in the Philippines whether the international pageant will be held this year amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
“We are preparing for the pageant on Saipan even with the pandemic,” said Clayton who is also president of Exquisite Production Marianas LLC.
She said eight candidates have signed up for this year’s CNMI competition.
The Miss Earth Northern Marianas pageant was launched in 2019 and it was very successful, she added.
Leisha Deleon Guerrero was crowned Miss Earth Northern Marianas 2019 in June 2019 at the Hyatt Regency Saipan.
