Of the six, four are cargo vessels, which carry food and grocery product containers, one is a fuel tanker, and the other is a cement tanker, he said.
The vessels are from Japan, South Korea, and the United States.
“The cargo vessels basically carry all kinds of goods,” Mafnas said.
The Custom Division, he added, continues to receive cargoes on a regular basis.
Mafnas said the division is also strictly implementing the governor’s executive order disallowing crewmembers of the vessels from disembarking if they refuse to be quarantined.
“We’ve been working closely with the governor’s Covid-19 Task Force and public health officials to ensure the safety of our staff and the community’s health,” he added.
