Tonga’s acting solicitor general, ‘Aminiasi Kefu, told Radio and Television Tonga that 92 people have been found guilty.
Ten of the accused were convicted by a jury while almost 20 people were acquitted.
300 people are charged with various crimes related to the Nov. 16, 2006 riots. To date, about 70 suspects are awaiting trial.
Kefu said 115 people charged are classified as first or minor offenders, mostly those who were caught looting.
