The fair will start at 9 a.m. and end at 3 p.m., she said.
She said the event will begin with a MOM or Mommies of Marianas foot parade at the Kristo Rai Church at 10 a.m.
Participants will walk from the church to the fair grounds at the Carolinian Utt.
“I am excited about the event, most especially the parade,” Ada-Hocog said.
She encouraged participants to bring homemade signs that pay tribute to the mommies in their lives.
“This, I feel, is a great way to show the community how much you love your mom,” she added.
Ada-Hocog said the event will feature entertainment from various dance groups, food sales, adult and children’s games, rummage sales, exhibits, arts and crafts and raffle draws.
During the program, there will be an open house for the new Garapan Development Center which will also be blessed.
The theme for this year’s event is “Empowering Women Across the CNMI.”
She said they will highlight the importance of women and their contributions at homes and throughout the CNMI.
Ada-Hocog expressed appreciation to all the donors and volunteers for their generosity and hard work in supporting the event.
