The Marianas Public Land Trust filed a complaint of foreclosure against the Torres couple, who are now residing in Boise, Idaho.
Through attorney Robert T. Torres, MPLT is asking the lower court to order the Torres couple to pay the principal amount of $105,551.64 on the promissory note; prejudgment interest of $4,507.12 at 2 percent accrued interest and unpaid charges of $1,253.20; and post-judgment interest of 9 percent per annum from date of judgment.
MPLT is also asking an entry of foreclosure of the mortgage property to satisfy balance.
The loan was executed on or about March 20, 2002, the complaint stated.
