SUVA (Pacnews) — A salesman implicated in the murder of four Chinese nationals last weekend has been given two weeks to find a lawyer.
Li-Jun, 45, who has been remanded in police custody, has been advised by the Suva High Court to seek help from the Legal Aid Commission.
He came into the country two months ago and had been staying with the murdered family of four. The multiple murder case is the first in the country.
Li-Jun has been charged with four counts of murder. When asked in court on Wednesday, he said he understood the charges.
The case has been deferred until July 3.
