(MVA) — Fresh off its Japan Marine Diving Awards selection as #2 Best Diving Area Global early this month, the Marianas touted its diving and other attractions on April 12-14, 2024, at ADEX Ocean Festival Singapore, the largest dive expo in Asia.

The three-day event presented a diverse array of  activities and attractions, including immersive dive experiences, interactive workshops, marine conservation talks, underwater photography and videography showcases, cutting-edge diving gear displays, and more.

“ADEX is a celebration of the ocean, bringing together diving enthusiasts, marine conservationists, industry experts, and adventure seekers under one roof,” said MVA Marketing Manager Thomas Kim.  “The festival serves as a platform for fostering a deeper appreciation of the ocean’s wonders and promoting sustainable practices to preserve our marine ecosystems. It was an excellent opportunity for the Marianas Visitors Authority to network with key stakeholders in the diving and marine tourism industry. Building relationships with industry professionals can lead to potential collaborations and partnerships to promote the Marianas as a premier diving destination.”

MVA showcased to a targeted audience of diving enthusiasts and travel influencers the unique attractions and dive sites that Saipan, Tinian, and Rota offer, increasing the Marianas brand visibility and recognition among a niche audience passionate about diving and marine conservation. Among the thousands of festival attendees, over 300 stopped at the MVA booth to speak with representatives about the Marianas or sign up to receive destination information via email.
