At the 2024 Asian Pacific Americans in Higher Education National Conference in Oakland, California on April 3 to 5, 2024, Northern Marianas College President Galvin Deleon Guerrero, EdD, was nationally recognized as one of four CEOs of the year. The annual APAHE national conference is the largest gathering of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander educational leaders in the United States. Attendees share best practices, new and emerging trends in higher education, and DEI initiatives, while also collaborating on advocacy efforts that affect the AANHPI community on local, state and federal levels.
