Their plan, according to task force block captain Glenn Dikito, aims to deter the commission of crimes.
Based on the information they’ve gathered, he said thieves and other criminals have turned some of the abandoned houses and vacant lots as their “hideouts.”
Today, he said his group will meet at his residence on Kamachile Avenue, Kagman 2 at 6:30 p.m.
Dikito said interested community members are invited to attend the meeting.
The group, which already has 52 members, will elect officers and discuss their plans, he added.
He said they will have a separate meeting with the youth sector with block captain Eric Magofna, Kagman High School vice principal.
