THE CNMI Board of Professional Licensing and the Health Care Professions Licensing Board have approved the final adoption of regulations for speech-language pathologists and audiologists.
Under the new regulations, pathologists and audiologists will be required to register with the licensing board, according to its executive director, Esther Fleming.
A schedule of fees is included in the adopted regulations: $100 to apply for an initial license, with a $200 renewal fee.
Licenses must be renewed every two years, Fleming said, adding that the new regulations will take effect in mid-December.
