NMC has three seats in the Youth Congress but only two candidates: freshman Amanda R. Johnson and sophomore Victoria P. Aldan.
Johnson said she wants to guide other youth senators and increase her knowledge about drafting and voting on bills.
She wants to help prevent teen pregnancy.
Aldan, for her part, plans to encourage more volunteers to help beautify the CNMI.
She also wants to help curb tobacco and alcohol use among the underage youth.
