Mendiola, who has been appointed interim president and CEO of Emmanuel College, refused to comment yesterday.
NMC President Carmen Fernandez in an interview last week said Mendiola is still with the college but is on leave.
Mendiola’s position was among the 14 items listed in the job announcement posted by the college from Sept. 3 to 18.
The college is offering an annual salary of $50,000 to $55,000 for the position.
Applicants are now being interviewed by an NMC search committee.
The college is still hiring for two nursing positions, an academic librarian as well as instructors for the social sciences, mathematics, psychology, language and humanities, health and physical education.
The other vacancies that were announced included the positions of an accountant, procurement manager, academic records specialist, database administrator, enrollment manager, and animal scientist/pasture agronomist.
