David Q. Maratita, her grandfather, said he’s proud of his granddaughter’s achievement.
Flores graduated from First Assembly Christian Academy in 2004 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Her parents, originally from Guam, moved to Wyoming in 2000.
She is the daughter of Sylvia Flores who works for the Department of Family Services while her father, Orlando Flores, is stationed at Warren Air Force Base and is with the Wyoming National Guard.
Maratita said Flores has been a consistent scholar and was on the National Dean’s List for four years at UNLV.
She was inducted into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the Psi Chi National Honor Society in Psychology, the Golden Key Inernational Honor Society, and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
She plans to pursue a doctorate in psychology.
Her families and friends are proud for her significant achievement and wish her all the best in her future educational endeavors.
