NMI urged to vote wisely

Babauta, who narrowly lost to Rep. Heinz S. Hofschneider in the GOP primary, said the people should vote wisely and open their eyes in order to make a difference.

Only the people can make changes by voting the right people as their leaders, Babauta added.

He cited the lack of doctors at the Commonwealth Health Center as an example of the current problems that need solutions.

But, he added, “we should stop the blame game, take responsibility for these issues and make sure that change happens.”

Among the Republican leaders spoke during the rally at the civic center were Rota Sen. Paul A. Manglona, former Department of Community and Cultural Affairs Secretary Thomas A. Tebuteb. Rep. David M. Apatang and former Rep. Pedro P. Castro.
