CNMI Women Association president Susana Blas Deleon Guerrero earlier said that this is the era where women should play a very important role not only for their families but for the affairs of the community at large.
Blas Deleon also said that women should be advocates for the poor, neglected families or individuals, children and youths. They should join efforts to stop drug abuse, violence against women and prostitution, and start to take an active role in the political process in the community.
