Online campaign calls for governor’s resignation

Rick Vaughn said he aims to collect at least 10,000 signatories.

“The governor’s bad behavior should stop,” he stated.

The petition  included several inquiries.

“The public deserves to get an answer to these questions,” Vaughn said.

• Why did the Department of Public Safety use public funds (manpower, vehicles, gasoline) to deliver a federal detainee to the governor’s mansion?

• Was the masseuse  paid?  If so, what did she do with the money when she got back to jail? If not, did the governor use his office to unjustly enrich himself?

• Who in their right mind would break someone under federal custody out of jail so they could get a massage?

• Were there no other girls able to perform a “massage”?

Vaughn believes Fitial had shamed CNMI voters and taxpayers because of the controversies he is facing.

He is inviting interested parties to check out the petition posted at http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/removefitial or http://www.petitiononline.com/fitialgo/.
