According to Russ Snow, UMDA president and CEO, 31 of Palms Resort’s rooms have been blocked permanently for exclusive use by the Xanadu Club.
“The Palms is committed to promoting and sustaining tourism in the CNMI,” said Mustafa Issa, the hotel’s general manager .
“The Xanadu Club room rental agreement for vacation time share is an integral part of our marketing diversification. We are currently in related discussions, utilizing this concept, with other tour companies in Japan and Korea, as well.”
Issa added, “An important focus of our marketing strategy is to create strong partnerships with our established tour operators. The response and support from our tour operators has been overwhelming, and in response, the Palms is in the process of implementing a comprehensive renovation effort to upgrade room accommodations, food and beverage facilities, and a wide range of optional tours and attractions.”
According to Issa, “We have also reaffirmed our commitment to our local customers by creating fantastic food and beverage promotions exclusively to support the needs of our local market. I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank all of our clients in Saipan for their support, and promise to introduce new and exciting promotions and events as we strive to continually surprise and delight you.”
The Palms Resort Saipan is located on Paupau Beach with 313 oceanfront rooms, all of which enjoy a panoramic view from Banzai Cliff to Garapan.
The Palms offers three first-class restaurants, the Fresko Café, Minami Japanese Restaurant, and the Kaenju Teppanyaki Restaurant, plus a nightly Sunset BBQ featuring a live island music and dance show.
All hotel guests and restaurant customers can also attend the nightly astronomy presentations and enjoy free use of the Palms’ powerful telescopes.
The sports and recreational facilities at the Palms include our large swimming and diving pools, five tennis courts, three racquetball courts, and a state-of-the-art fitness center which houses the only Pilates Studio in the CNMI.
