Palms Resort to open new bar

PRS advertising sales representative Minako Kayagaki told the Variety yesterday that a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow to mark the grand opening of the Isa Bar located near the poolside of PRS.

“Isa means rainbow in the Chamorro language, and the hotel staff voted to choose the name of the new bar,” Kayagaki said.

Isa Bar is  a snack bar serving fastfood and snacks like hotdog, fried chicken dog, cheese dog, Chinese noodles, fried noodles, club sandwich, spaghetti, local fruits and various drinks, she said.

“What makes Isa Bar stand out is that all snacks are priced at $3 per order, making it very affordable for the community,” Kayagaki said.

She added that in celebration of the grand opening, Isa Bar will be serving snacks and drinks at 50 percent discount on Aug. 1-3.

“The pool is free for our guests. We will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the weekend, and we have lots of games planned for the whole family,” Kayagaki said.

Like the previous summer bash, Kayagaki said they will be holding games like water balloon toss, relay, and other water games.

She said different games will be played each day for the whole three-day celebration.

“We are inviting the community to be there and join us in this new milestone of service to the people of the CNMI. Come and join us for three days of fun, food and games,” she said.

After the three-day opening promo, Kayagaki said Isa Bar will be serving snacks and drinks at its regular price.
