Parents complete KoES workshops

The workshops were held during two Saturdays in December and the participants were Renaluz Andebor, Marites Villanueva, Esmerada Babauta, Rosel Bess A. Imperial, Tina A. Fujihira, Frances Q. Arriela, Jaime S. Taitingfong, Nicasia Sablan, Amalia Ramolor, Christine Falcon, Luana Ichikawa, Melba Dacucus Rayburn Espangel and Innocencia They.

Project Famliia is a wellness program held every year at the school.

It aims is to improve family lifestyle in the CNMI, reduce inactivity among young children, help families learn portion control, practice healthy food shopping strategies, help families  understand their children’s unique needs and  find ways to motivate them as well as balance their energy sources while promoting virtues such as moderation, assertiveness and consideration.

The Partners In Print program aims to help parents look for techniques or ways to make reading fun with their children.

Both workshops are expected to guide parents in helping their children to be healthy and to become effective communicators, critical thinkers, problem solvers productive individuals and involved citizens.
