But event coordinator Ronnie Doca said they were saddened because not all of those who came were given services.
“We even extended our time to accommodate all,” he said, adding “we hope they will understand us.”
He said the church will hold another medical mission in San Antonio after it’s done with the other villages.
Doca said their medical missions are free.
Last Sunday was the church’s fifth medical mission and next month it is planning to hold a similar activity at the Kagman Community Center.
In its recent health screening in San Antonio, 78 individuals were given different medical services.
Doca said 46 people were given free eye screening; 33, facial massage; 46, body massage; 50, blood sugar examination; 71, blood pressure checkup; 28, free hair cut; and 56, spiritual counseling.
Doca said they also gave health care products and other giveaways from Brabu Pharmacy, Maranatha Christian Store and the church.
Norma Ababos, one of the patients, was given $150 worth of gift certificate from the Marianas Eye Institute.
The medical mission drew the participation of the Northern Marianas College Nursing Club headed by Hervin Jacinto, the Marianas Eye Institute and volunteers from the church.
