The perseverance and passion of the teachers in providing effective instruction, and collaborating with parents and our community members have impacted student learning.
“Our teachers role in creating a nurturing learning environment and maximizing our children’s potential shows that PSS continues to progress in its student achievement and the development of the whole child,” PSS stated.
In celebrating the many hats of our teachers, the schools and programs are honoring and recognizing their hard work and dedication this week.
Each day of the week, teachers will be receiving gifts and treats such as a fruit, card, flower, lei, mwar, and school supply.
PSS teachers, teacher aides, and instructors strive for excellence and hold high standards on their students’ academics and achievements.
According to Rota High School principal Sharlene Manglona, “teachers spend endless and countless times with their students to see them succeed.”
Another principal, Rizalina Purugganan of Koblerville Elementary School, said “teachers are the heart, mind, and soul of the school.”
