PNB opens at new location

PNB and RNV Construction president Ruel R. Villacrucis said PNB, now under his new management has expanded and increased their payout outlets for remittances to make it easier for the recipients.

As of Oct. 8, 2008, there are over 2,700 PNB Remittance payout outlets in the Philippines including Globe Telecom GCash, Villarica Pawnshop, Green Bank of Caraga, Prime Asia Pawnshop, Save and Earn, Tambunting Pawnshop, Cebuana Lhuillier, One Network Bank and RD Pawnshop.

Administative Analyst Annabelle M. Irang said that recipients in Metro Manila can get their remittance in dollars if they choose to with a minimum of $100 up to $1,000. This dollar remittance collection feature however is yet to be made available outside Metro Manila.

She said that with an initial amount of $20, depositors can open a PNB Peso Savings account, or a $200 initial deposit for PNB Dollar Savings account.

“We only facilitate and help CNMI depositors to open an account from any PNB Branch in the Philippines. We can also facilitate opening a PNB Global Filipino Money Card for your beneficiaries in the Phils.,” she said.

Irang added that when a depositor opens an account with PNB here, he or she can only make deposits but cannot make any withdrawals here since the account is in the Philippines.

“Depositors here can open an account for their beneficiaries in the Philippines and that will help them save money instead of paying for remittance fees every time they send money,” she said.

PNB Foreign Exchange also offers other services like same time delivery Credit to PNB account, advice and pay at any PNB Branch, advice and pay at any payout center, credit to other bank account, door to door delivery and SSS payments.
