In the junior division (7th and 8th grades), participants have been invited to recite a poem from certain sections of Valentine N. Sengebau’s “Microchild” and to give a personal introduction and personal interpretation of the poem.
In the senior division (9th-12th grades), participants will recite original poetry that addresses themes relating to culture, identity, and/or change in the Northern Marianas.
