Police officers accused of trespassing

The couple also asked the Attorney General’s Office to look into their complaint.

The Variety is withholding the identity of the officers as DPS has yet to respond to the  inquiries of this reporter.

The couple, who requested not to be identified, said their family was surprised to see two uniformed officers roaming inside their compound, looking for a family member, at about 9:15 a.m. yesterday.

The couple said the officers didn’t have a search or arrest order from the court.

“They just came in our compound without us knowing it. They did not have any courtesy to knock, or call out. They did not use their police siren or honk their horn to call our attention,” the housewife said, adding she immediately called 911 and complained about the trespassing.

A responding officer told the housewife that there was no “No Trespassing” sign by their steel gate.

“We cooperate with authorities. They have to respect our privacy. Our compound is private, it has a fence and gates,” the housewife said.

She added that the officers did not even apologize to them.
