The Department of Public Safety’s Criminal Investigation Bureau is asking for the public’s help regarding a disturbance that occurred near Relox Bar in Western Garapan on Nov. 16.
According to DPS, officers responded to the scene at around 3:50 a.m. and found that two men had been involved in a physical altercation. One of the men was reportedly punched and fell to the pavement.
The suspect, identified as 29-year-old Jeremy Guillermin, was arrested at the scene and remains in custody at the Department of Corrections.
Guillermin, a Palauan national undergoing Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) training on Saipan, was charged in Superior Court with aggravated assault and battery, disturbing the peace, and obstructing justice.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 26 at 10 a.m. for a preliminary hearing.
