On Friday, Associate Judge Kenneth L. Govendo said there was probable cause to believe that Jin Fang Zhang, also known as Friend, may have committed he charges of possession and trafficking of “ice”.
Zhang, who is pregnant, was brought to the Commonwealth Health Center on Wednesday.
Zhang was arrested after $800 worth of “ice” was purchased from her by authorities.
After her arrest, Drug Enforcement Task Force members searched her room at the Sablan Construction barracks in San Antonio, where drug paraphernalia and an unknown substance suspected to be “ice” were found, police said.
In other news, Fu Zhu Lin, also known as Noni, will appear in court today for his arraignment. He was charged with possession and trafficking of” ice,” and resisting arrest.
He is being held on a $30,000 cash bail.
Another “ice” defendant, Junding Qiu, 36, also known as Cho Que, has denied the drug charges filed against him.
Qiu was arrested on Oct. 23.
Qiu lived in a room at the back of the housing complex in As Lito, where Jin Dong Wang, 44, also resided.
Wang suffered head and ribcage injuries after being assaulted by a police officer following a controlled buy operation against Qiu on Oct. 18.
