
THE U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is pleased to invite the community to attend a presentation and provide comments on its proposed plan to remediate the Marpi Point Field munitions response site in accordance with the Defense Environmental Restoration Program for Formerly Used Defense Sites. The Proposed Plan has been prepared to describe the proposed remedy to reduce the risk of exposure to munitions and explosives of concern and munitions constituents detected at the former airfield.
Representatives from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will be available to receive your comments and questions on the proposed plan during a public meeting to be held on the date, time, and location stated below. The proposed plan and other Marpi Point Field MRS project documents are located at Joeten-Kiyu Public Library on Saipan.
