PSS aims to strengthen partnership with Apatang-Mendiola administration

THE Public School System is poised to strengthen its partnership with the new administration of Gov. David M. Apatang and Lt. Gov. Dennis C. Mendiola.

Commissioner of Education Dr. Lawrence F. Camacho highlighted the importance of continuity in their collaboration.

“We recognize the importance of maintaining a cohesive relationship as we strive to serve the Commonwealth effectively,” Camacho said, reflecting on the longstanding partnership and trust shared between PSS and the administration of the late Gov. Arnold I. Palacios and then-Lt. Gov. David M. Apatang.

“We are eager to work closely with Governor Apatang and Lieutenant Governor Mendiola to address the pressing needs of our students, schools, and communities across the Commonwealth,” Camacho said.

Serving more than 9,000 students across public elementary, middle, and high schools, PSS is dedicated to ensuring that the educational needs of students in Rota, Tinian, and Saipan are met, he added.

Reiterating PSS’s role as a key partner, Camacho said, “Education is fundamental to the growth of our Commonwealth. We look forward to collaborating in ways that empower the next generation of CNMI leaders.”

As PSS embraces this new chapter of partnership, Camacho added, “Together, we will continue to build a brighter future for all.”
