PSS digital camera stolen

A DIGITAL camera belonging to the Public School System was stolen at its central office on Capitol Hill.

The Department of Public Safety’s spokesman, Police Lt. Pete C. Muna, yesterday said PSS staff Yvonne A. Atalig reported the theft incident on Monday.

Atalig told the police that she noticed that the camera worth $900 was missing since last week.

Atalig said she was in charge of the camera, “but sometimes other people in PSS would use it.”

She said she left the item on the table in her office. Atalig said she went around the office asking if anyone had or might have seen the camera, but she could not find it.

The case was placed under further investigation.

Last March, a laptop computer worth $30,000 belonging to PSS was stolen.
