
The Public School System, in collaboration with local career pathway partners, kicked off the federally funded, five-day PSS K-12 Career Pathways work session Monday at the Saipan World Resort. Led by Commissioner of Education Dr. Lawrence F. Camacho, educators and representatives from Rota, Tinian, and Saipan schools along with PSS programs gathered with partners from the University of Guam, Northern Marianas College, Northern Marianas Technical Institute, the Saipan Chamber of Commerce, lawmakers, and the private sector. The National Career Academy Coalition is spearheading this week-long session with NCAC President Dr. Jay Steele, standing center, first row, as presenter. The training is initiated by the PSS Career and Technical Education Program and is funded by the school district’s consolidated grant managed by the PSS Federal Programs Office.
