“This was a project I wanted to take care of early in the year,” he said.
However, because of the Covid-19 pandemic, a lot of things were ultimately put on hold, he said.
This week though, the lawmaker said his office and the Office of the Mayor of Saipan are working to complete this project.
He said his office purchased gravel for the project, and he has requested the Office of the Mayor of Saipan to provide the equipment for the road repair.
“We have been in collaboration since I got into office,” he added.

He said the two offices have forged a great working relationship as they both have a mission to “get things done for our community.”
Camacho expressed his gratitude to Saipan Mayor David Apatang for his continued efforts and collaboration with the lawmaker’s office to serve the community.
Although his family has been facing difficult times in the past few weeks after losing loved ones, Camacho said he will continue to push forward for the community.
“It is truly an honor and privilege serving the good people of Precinct 4 and the CNMI, and I will never forget that,” he said. “I will continue to work for you.”
