ROTA — Rep. Julie Ogo is pleased to announce her full support for J&P Holdings LLC, a well-respected local company that has proudly served the CNMI community for over 30 years, excelling in skydiving and air cargo services within the Marianas. With a proven track record of dedication and commitment to the region, J&P Holdings has become a trusted name among residents and businesses alike.
J&P Holdings, through its Micronesian Air Connection Services, is now taking a major step forward by proposing an investment of over $8 million to expand their services to include air passenger transportation within the Marianas.
Representative Ogo views this project as a vital advancement in enhancing inter- island connectivity and increasing accessibility for all community members. She wholeheartedly supports their application for a qualifying certificate through the Commonwealth Economic Development Authority.
“This investment by J&P Holdings marks a milestone in breaking the current monopoly on air passenger services within the Marianas,” said Ogo. “Their expansion will make airfare more affordable and accessible for inter-island residents, travelers, and tourists alike, ultimately benefiting the entire community and promoting greater movement across our islands.”
The proposed expansion promises to reduce airfare costs, allowing more people to travel affordably and conveniently between islands, which will further boost tourism and strengthen regional connections.
“This is a milestone achievement that aligns with our vision for an interconnected, accessible CNMI,” added Ogo. “I am confident that J&P Holdings’ initiative will bring lasting economic and social benefits to our islands.”
Ogo looks forward to seeing the positive impact this expansion will have on the community and is eager to support the growth and accessibility that this project will bring to the Marianas.
