Out of 14 young ladies vying for the title, Robertson was crowned Miss Guam World 2011 during the highly anticipated pageant held Friday at the Hyatt Regency Guam.
Robertson also won Best in Evening Gown. The 21-year-old Guam Community College student is no stranger to pageants. She was also crowned Miss Universe Guam in 2008.
While being Miss Guam World titleholder comes with the responsibility of representing Guam and advocating community service, the perks of being a beauty queen are undeniable. The winner gets a number of prizes which include keys to a BMW for a year, $2,500 cash, a trip to Manila, Philippines where she will participate in a photo shoot for the cover of UNO magazine, a year’s worth of spa treatments, and many more.

The special award is given to the contestant who has raised the most money and was active in their chosen organization, ultimately exemplifying what Miss World is all about — “Beauty With a Purpose.”
