Rose Dance School instructors Eden Quizon and Allen Cuyugan said the “Dance for a Cause” fundraiser will feature special dance numbers from the instructors and performances from the students of the healthy dancing classes of the Wise Women Village Project in coordination with the Department of Public Health and the Saipan mayor’s office.
“Dance for a Cause” will be held at the Canton Restaurant in Garapan.
Quizon said the fundraiser is also a celebration of the partnership between the dance school and the Wise Women Village Project which will turn one year old next month.
“We would like to invite the community to come and witness our students showcase their dancing talents and celebrate with us on our upcoming anniversary,” Cuyugan said.
Entrance fee is $12 per person, inclusive of a buffet dinner and a chance to win various prizes at the raffle draws during the event.
The Rose Dance School has been working with the Wise Women Village Project in promoting free healthy dancing classes regularly each week.
“Everybody is invited to come and join the free dance classes and this is not just to learn how to dance, but to keep your body healthy and fit,” Cuyugan said.
The Wise Women Village Project healthy dancing students have been actively joining community events. They will be participating in the July 4 Liberation Day festivities.
