In its recent meeting, she said the Rota Legislative Delegation confirmed the appointment of Lorenzo A. Barcinas.
Sen. Juan M. Ayuyu, Ind.-Rota and delegation chairman, said they unanimously confirmed Barcinas’ appointment.
“I am pleased to inform you that the Rota Legislative Delegation unanimously confirmed Lorenzo A. Barcinas to serve as a board member to the Rota Municipal Scholarship Board,” Ayuyu told Rota Mayor Melchor A. Mendiola in a letter June 22.
Prior to the confirmation, Ayuyu said a public hearing was conducted on the nomination of Barcinas.
“Those present at the hearing unanimously endorsed Barcinas’ nomination,” he said.
The delegation is confident that Barcinas will serve on this particular board with commitment and dedication, he added.
Santos, Ind.-Rota and the delegation vice chairwoman, said Barcinas can serve the community with “his wide and various experiences both at the private and governmental sector.”
Barcinas’ confirmation was also supported by delegation floor leader Sen. Jovita M. Taimanao, Ind.-Rota, and legislative secretary Senate President Paul A. Manglona, Ind.-Rota.
