Club president Marcia Ayuyu said Rotarians are “very thankful” to the Tan Siu Lin Foundation and McDonald’s Saipan for their continued support.
“We expect more business firms to give their full support in the next fun run,” she added.
The other sponsors of this year’s fundraising event were T Galleria by DFS, Megabyte, Fiesta Resort & Spa, Bank of Guam, Hyatt Regency Saipan, Bridge Capital, Micronesian Brokers, D&Q International Distributors, Kanoa Resort, Pacific Islands Club, LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort, Grandvrio Resort, Aqua Resort Club, National Office Supply, Matson, Yaong Corporation, Century Hotel, I Love Saipan, Marpac, Great Harvest Bakery, Pacific Trading, Coca-Cola, Triple J Wholesale, and IHOP.
Ayuyu also thanked volunteers led by Robin Sapong, former Rep. Ramon Tebuteb, and the members of the Interact and Rotaract Club on Saipan.
She said this year’s Rotary McFun Run, which was held on Feb. 22, registered 259 runners, the highest turnout since 2015.
She added that the club collected $7,453 from sponsors in cash and in-kind donations.
Total expenses amounted to $1,732.92, netting the club $5,052.08 from this year’s event, Ayuyu said.
