Saigon Vietnam Restaurant re-opens in new location

Officially opened on Feb. 1, Saigon Vietnam Restaurant’s new location offers a much bigger and more comfortable space, enough to accommodate 200 people at one time.

“I would like to invite all our loyal customers to visit us in the new location and try our improved Vietnamese and Chinese dishes for lunch and dinner,” restaurant owner Yang Song said.

Step inside the door of the new Saigon Vietnam Restaurant and you will be transported into a different world. An antique dining set from Japan dominates one corner of the restaurant.

The restaurant has separate rooms with colorful partitions ideal for private meetings.

Saigon Vietnam Restaurant offers two separate menus for Chinese and Vietnamese dishes, but Yang Song assures that when they say Chinese or Vietnamese dishes, it’s authentic and the best food on island.

“We have 40 courses to choose from for our lunch special for $5,” Yang Song said.

The special lunch comes with free ice tea of Jasmine tea, salad, soup and dessert.

Among the restaurant’s special lunch dishes are Hainan fried rice, BBQ beef, chicken or pork on rice, beef cubes or shrimp, mixed vegetables, and more. You can also choose from the wide selection of noodle soups such as the Saigon rice noodles, chicken or shrimp with hot pepper on Vermicelli, spring rolls and more.

The Chinese cuisine menu includes mouth-watering array of Chinese dishes including noodle soups, tofu dishes, spring rolls, dumplings, seafood, chicken, pork and beef dishes.

Yang Song said they bring the taste of Vietnam to the people here through their selection of 99 dishes from appetizers such as Vietnamese spring rolls and charcoal grilled beef sticks in sesame, vermicelli plates, Pho or rice noodle soups, hot and spicy dishes, and more.

Yang Song said customers should not be misled as the place they vacated in front of the Hyatt Regency in Garapan chose a name that is almost similar to Saigon Vietnam Restaurant.

Saigon Vietnam Restaurant has ample parking spaces in the front and back areas. The restaurant is open from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for lunch, and from 5 to 11 p.m. for dinner every day. For inquiries/reservations, call 233-6868 or 233-7259.
