Saipan Chamber of Commerce scholarship application deadline extended to Aug. 1

(SCC) — The Saipan Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that the application deadline for its Educational Scholarship Program has been extended to Friday, Aug. 1, 2025, at 12 p.m. Originally set for June 30, this extension gives students valuable extra time to complete and submit their applications.

The SCC encourages all high school graduates and current students at Northern Marianas College or Northern Marianas Technical Institute to take advantage of this opportunity to receive financial support toward their educational and career goals.

This annual scholarship program reflects the Chamber’s commitment to advancing higher education and preparing the next generation of professionals for the CNMI workforce. To date, the SCC has awarded over $160,000 to students pursuing academic and vocational training programs.

Scholarships available:

• Chamber Educational Scholarship – For students attending or planning to attend NMC

• Pellegrino Vocational Scholarship – For students attending or planning to attend NMTech

Applicants should demonstrate academic motivation, a commitment to community service, and a clear intention to contribute to the CNMI workforce. Applications will be reviewed by the Chamber’s Education & Workforce Development Committee.

How to apply:

• Application forms are available at the Chamber office, located on the 2nd Floor of the Marianas Business Plaza, Suite #201-A

• Printed applications can also be delivered to schools upon request

• Submit completed applications in person no later than Friday, Aug. 1, 2025, at 12 p.m.
