Saipan Chamber of Commerce to meet on Aug. 6

(SCC) —  The Saipan Chamber of Commerce’s August general membership meeting is set for Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Queens Hall of Kensington Hotel Saipan.

This month’s meeting will feature a special Q&A panel discussion with key members of the House of Representatives. Attendees will hear directly from legislative leaders on issues shaping the CNMI’s business environment, including tourism, commerce, infrastructure, education, and health.

Among the confirmed panelists are:

• Rep. Julie Ogo, chair of the Committee on Tourism

• Rep. TJ Manglona, chair of the Committee on Commerce

• Rep. Roman Benavente, chair of the Committee on Education

• Rep. Blas Jonathan “BJ” Attao, chair of the Committee on Federal & Foreign Affairs and vice chair of the Committee on Health & Welfare

• Rep. Vincent Aldan, chair of the Committee on Public Utilities, Transportation & Communication

This is a unique opportunity for Chamber members and the broader community to engage with policymakers, ask questions, share feedback, and gain valuable insight into ongoing legislative initiatives. The discussion is expected to cover pressing topics affecting businesses and residents alike.

Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m., with the meeting beginning promptly at 12 noon. The luncheon fee is $35 for members and $40 for future members.
