Class members are invited to celebrate each other and give appreciation for the great life the Lord has conferred on them and their families.
“As we reach our 69th or 70th birthday, we want our community to join us in thanking the Lord for all the blessings bestowed on the people of the CNMI,” Chailan Palacios said.
“We consider our class to have made tremendous contributions to our commonwealth. One of our classmates chaired the Marianas Political Status Commission and at least two other were members. One was instrumental in the establishment of Northern Marianas College. Two became Washington representatives. One became command sergeant major for the Special Forces. Several served in the armed forces or as elected officials. A good number were teachers and several served our people by working for the government. Others became successful businesspersons. We also have musicians and one became the first woman from the NMI to obtain a BA degree. Another became the first lawyer from the NMI.”
